Mr and Mrs F contacted us after a recommendation. Mrs F had unfortunately lost her engagement and wedding ring some years ago and they had decided the time had finally come to replace them. Although Mrs F was aware that new rings were being commissioned, we kept it as secret as we could, as she was unaware that the rings would be ready in time for Christmas, and awaiting her beneath the tree on Christmas morning.

Using old photos, we could easily see that Mrs F’s original engagement ring was a classic four claw compass set twist; a style you will likely find as a staple in most jewellers windows. Mr F wanted to keep it as close to the original as possible, however the surprise was to come in the form of quite the diamond upgrade.

We sourced a spectacular 3.04ct round brilliant cut, D colour, VVs1 clarity, triple X stone, certified by GIA, and created a showstopper that, quite frankly, made the ladies at Katrina Young Bespoke green with envy.

Perfectly paired with a shaped-to-fit platinum wedding band, we only wish we could have seen the joy on Mrs F’s face on Christmas morning.
